This fundraiser means a lot to me, as I spent time at children's when I was 14 years old and today is actually a significant day for a couple reasons...
On December 9th, 2009 I was hit by a car while crossing Grant Road in East Wenatchee. It is no secret that this accident signifcantly impacted my life physically, mentally and emotionally. I had bleeding in the brain and was flown to Seattle Harbor View Medical Center for emergency brain surgery that led to 6 days in a coma, with my loved ones not knowing how I would be when I woke up or if I would wake up. December 15th, 2009 I woke up and just 2 days later was moved to Seattle Children's Hospital and went through intensive physical, occupational and speech therapy.…
