glass + sip

Our glass + sip's are fused glass designing classes with a designated project. While we give step-by-step instructions our samples are meant to inspire you, so there is always opportunity for personalization.

This month's project is an 8" round rainbow votive.

Jenn will teach you how to use our glass cutting tools, primarily using nippers. You will learn the basics of fused glass designing, with extra focus on layering opaque + transparent rainbow colors. When you are finished designing, your glass will be fired at a tack fuse (which fuses all the glass together but leaves texture) and then slumped (fired a second time to melt into the candle votive shape).

$49 ticket includes:

• one 8" white round glass
• instruction + all supplies

• Best for ages 16+
• Great for beginners + experienced artists alike.
• A variety of drinks, ice cream + snacks are available to purchase from our cafe.
• Fired glass candle votive will be ready for pick up on Friday, March 18th.
• You are welcome to come in early, but we will start around 6:15.
