Inspirations Ceramic + Art Cafe is becoming Inspirations Studios.
Inspirations is growing, and our name is growing with us.
What began as one pottery painting studio in Wenatchee now includes two creative spaces with more ways to work with pottery, clay, and glass. This new name feels like the right way to bring everything together while honoring where we started.
A Name With Room to Grow
Pottery painting has always been at the heart of Inspirations. It is where our story began, and it will continue to be an important part of who we are.
Over the years we dreamed about everything we could offer with a second location. Now that dream is real. With two locations, Inspirations has become more than one studio and more than one type of artistic experience. Inspirations Studios gives us one name that can hold all of it.

Each location has its own focus, but both are part of the same Inspirations family. Visit Ninth Street for pottery painting or join us at Mission Street for clay and fused glass classes and private parties.
The Heart of Inspirations: Fired Arts
As we planned Mission Street, we spent a lot of time thinking about what makes Inspirations special. The answer kept bringing us back to the kiln.
Inspirations is a family of fired arts studios. Every project we offer goes through a kiln before it becomes the finished piece you take home.
With more room to grow, we chose to focus on what we do best. We love the anticipation of waiting for the kiln to open and seeing colors transform, glass melt together, and clay become something that can last for years.
That little bit of kiln magic is part of everything we do.

Inspirations Ceramic Ninth Street
📍 400 Ninth Street, Wenatchee
Ninth Street is our original studio and the home of the pottery painting experience our community already knows and loves. This is the place to choose a pottery piece from the shelf, pick your colors, settle in at a table, and create at your own pace.
Some visits are planned weeks ahead. Others begin with someone saying, “Let’s go paint pottery today.” We love both. Ninth Street welcomes walk in pottery painting, table reservations, parties, events, and take home kits.
Pottery Painting
Choose from our large selection of pottery pieces, add your favorite glazes, and leave your piece with us for kiln firing. We'll let you know when it's ready to pick up! Find inspiration in our studio samples, artwork you have seen online, or your own imagination.
Pottery painting is approachable for all ages and experience levels. Our glazes are water based so clothes are never stained, and our team takes care of the supplies and cleanup. We are always nearby to help with colors, techniques, and project ideas.

New at Ninth Street: Stoneware Pottery Painting
Stoneware Social is a new class offered at Ninth Street.
Join us on select Saturdays for relaxed mornings spent painting a beautiful mug or bowl you’ll reach for every day, with gorgeous glazes and plenty of room to make it your own. Part of the fun is seeing how the glazes move and transform in the kiln, creating rich colors and beautiful one-of-a-kind finishes. Fired stoneware pieces are designed for everyday use and are dinnerware, microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe.
We are excited to introduce more stoneware choices and make it available as a walk in activity as the program develops.
Inspirations Ceramic Mission Street
📍 134 N Mission Street, Wenatchee
Mission Street is the home of our clay and fused glass programs.
This studio was designed around the needs of wheel throwing, hand building, impressions, and fused glass.
Mission Street is currently open for scheduled classes and private parties only. Walk in creating is not available at this location yet.
You can experience Mission Street by registering for a class or by booking a private party or group experience.
Ways to Create at Mission Street
Wheel Throwing
Learn how to center and shape clay on a pottery wheel with guidance from our team.
Clay Hand Building
Use your hands, tools, textures, and imagination to create pottery from a ball of clay without using a wheel. The possibilities are nearly endless!
After Creating Clay: Painting at Ninth Street
Wheel thrown and hand built clay projects need time to dry before our team trims or refines them and completes the first kiln firing, which turns the clay into bisque.
After your project is fired into bisque, we will bring it to Inspirations Ninth Street, where you can paint using our full selection of glazes, tools, and supplies. Leave it with us for one final kiln firing to transform it into finished ceramic.
Painting at Ninth Street is included in the price of clay, but if you prefer, you may pick up your project as bare bisque and keep it as is or decorate it at home using your own materials.
Clay Impressions
Preserve handprints, footprints, or paw prints in clay to create a lasting keepsake. Our team helps capture the impression, then takes care of refining, painting, glazing and firing for you.
Fused Glass
Learn how to score, nip and cut colorful pieces of glass into your own design, then leave it with us to be fused together in the kiln. Whether you design jewelry or a ruffled bowl, you will have a piece of art that reflects the beauty of light and color.
Looking Ahead
As Mission Street grows, we plan to introduce walk in creating and memberships.
For now, scheduled classes and private parties allow our team to guide customers through each creative process and give every project the attention it needs.
We love having a studio built for this work. Pottery wheels can stay in place, clay projects can move through each stage, and fused glass has room for more colors, tools, and possibilities.

There Is More to the Story
Our fired art activities are the biggest part of this new chapter, but they are not the only parts of Inspirations receiving a fresh identity.
Meet The Palette Bar
The drink and ice cream counter inside Ninth Street now has a name of its own.
Meet The Palette Bar.
The words “Art Cafe” have been part of our name for years, but it often gave visitors the impression that we served sandwiches or meals, and we understand why. Cafe was right there in our name. Serving food is not something we have been able to add to our plate. We are excited to give this part of the Ninth Street experience a name that better reflects who we are.
The Palette Bar will continue serving espresso drinks, ice cream, and familiar favorites. You can enjoy something while you paint or stop in for a drink or treat to-go. You do not need to create a project to visit The Palette Bar.
Along with the new name, we are adding a rainbow of lotus drinks and sodas to the menu. Turn your favorite soda into a 'dirty soda' by adding flavor and glaze (our cold foam). Pair soda with our ice cream to make a float, including a classic root beer float.
We wanted The Palette Bar to feel connected to the studio while having a colorful personality of its own. An artist’s palette brings colors together, and now you can create with color at your table and in your cup.
After listening to customer feedback and reviewing our most popular orders, we simplified to one size: the 16oz Studio Staple! No more thinking about what size cup you'd like, we're refining our recipes and process to build you the best drinks. We look forward to sharing more flavors, seasonal ideas, and creative sips that feel like Inspirations.

The Makers Market Is Coming to Our Website + Mission Street

We’ll launch on our website just in time for holiday shopping, with an in-person retail space at Mission Street to follow in 2027.
The Makers Market will feature finished artwork, creative supplies, take home kits, and meaningful gifts. Find a finished piece to enjoy right away, or bring home something to spark your own creativity.
Saddle Rock Mugs, Home Sweet Home Plates, and Ornament Take Home Kits will be our first offerings! As you make your holiday gift list, we hope you’ll make room for shopping local and supporting small businesses. What Is Staying the Same
Although our name and look are changing, the heart of Inspirations is staying the same.
We are still a family owned Wenatchee business built around creativity, connection, and making memories.
We still want beginners to feel comfortable trying something new. We want returning artists to feel inspired. Most of all, we want people of every age to feel welcome here.
We will continue helping you celebrate birthdays, make meaningful gifts, preserve tiny handprints, try the pottery wheel, create with friends, and simply spend time with the people you love and make new friends along the way. We are carrying the best parts of Inspirations with us as we move forward.
This Is Just the Beginning
This season of growth at Inspirations began alongside a new season for our family. Emma was born in October 2025, and Duncan and I were home on leave together when the opportunity at Mission Street came along.
We began the conversation in December 2025 and received the keys on February 1, 2026. Deciding to take this leap with a newborn was exciting, overwhelming, and probably a little wild. It has also been incredibly meaningful to build something together while watching Emma grow alongside Inspirations.
So yes, we are a little tired. But we are also very grateful and certain that this is where we are meant to be. We are making choices that feel right for our family, our team, and the community we serve. There are still details to finish, programs to develop, and dreams we have not shared yet. We are learning what two studios can become, one thoughtful step at a time.
